Position Summary:
NESST, a program of the Center for Early Relationship Support and a service site for FIRST Steps Together, serves parents and caregivers of infants/young children 0-5 who have been impacted by substance use disorder (SUD). Parents receive support from peer Maternal Recovery Support Specialists and therapists on our 10-person team as well as the opportunity to participate in groups and access all the supportive services at JF&CS.
The Coordinator works in both program management and supervisory capacities. The position is ideal for someone with project management experience who cancoordinate the external and internal needs of the NESST team members, which are driven by policy, funding streams, and direct service needs. The NESST Coordinator reports to the CERS Clinical Director and works closely with other CERS program leaders.
This is a hybrid role based out of our Waltham office. We are looking for an ideal candidate to work 25 to 29 hours per week at $37-39.00 per hour.

Essential Job Functions:

Lead our partnership with MA FIRST Steps Together statewide project, including representing our work at all required meetings; providing and receiving input on aspects of the project implementation at the JF&CS site; and overseeing data collection as required by the FST project.

Supervise up to 4 Maternal Recovery Specialists who serve as recovery coahces for parents enrolled in NESST/FIRST Steps Together

Develop and sustain relationships with outside partners in order to support NESST visibility in the community, advocate for client interests and reduce barriers to support, monitor partnership and funding opportunities, and keep abreast of best practices to enhance the work of NESST.

Represent our team on relevant task forces, provider panels and collaborative groups to promote work of NESST and improve services for families impacted by SUD.

Create materials and tools required for grant-based compliance with private, state, and federal funding, supporting our workforce and partnering with CERS Clinical Director and Operations Coordinator to ensure services are integrated in CERS service delivery and operational support.

Provides oversight and quality assuranceof record keeping within NESST in coordination with the CERS Clinical Director.

Expertise and passion working with parents or families demonstrated by a combination of education or work history

Specialized training or work experience in substance use (license/certificate not required).

Experience providing clinical supervision, team leadership, and external-facing program representation.

Interest in leadership and program development.

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and willingness to occasionally travel for state-wide coordination

Demonstrated capacity to learn new software tools to ensure all aspects of job performance (electronic medical record, knowledge management, file storage, etc.).
