ABOUT THE ROLE:
This position is an exciting opportunity to lead a growing program which focuses on skill building and case management support for adults with autism spectrum disorder and related disabilities. The Social Work Supervisor provides clinical and administrative supervision to a team of clinicians who provide direct support in a community-based setting (and virtually as needed). Individuals served by the program live semi-independently, receiving one to three visits per week from staff. This role will play an important role in advancing the mission of the program and deepening the impact of the program on the larger community. In addition to the supervision responsibilities, the Social Work Supervisor is also responsible for assessment of incoming clients, maintaining relationships with families and outside stakeholders, leading team meetings, and overseeing the overall service delivery for clients in the program. The Social Work Supervisor works closely with other JF&CS programs and agencies to best support their clients.
Your workday will include:
- Supervise the Clinical Case Managers who work directly with adults who have disabilities. This includes providing clinical consultation and training based on their client needs, as well as ensuring that they maintain full caseloads, complete their documentation, and remain in compliance with DDS and agency standards.
- Provide oversight to other staff in the department who support individuals with disabilities including interns.
- Participate in intakes and assessments for incoming clients, including setting up new clients in the electronic database system.
- Collaborate with outside stakeholders including DDS, therapists, and partnering agencies to coordinate treatment.
- Lead monthly staff team meetings.
- Participate in budgeting and financial management tasks for the program, including monthly billing.
- Participate in marketing the program to outside stakeholders.
Educational, Experience and Skills Requirements:
- A master's degree in social work and independent licensure (LICSW) required.
- 2 years of supervisory and/or program management experience required.
- MA driver's license and vehicle are required. Mileage is reimbursed.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
