ABOUT ADOPTION RESOURCES
Adoption Resources is a licensed adoption program under the umbrella of The Center for Early Relationship Support (CERS) at Jewish Family & Children's Service. Adoption Resources provides a range of services for birth families, adoptive families as well as adoptees. Services include adoption education, home studies, case management, post placement supervision, counseling for birth parents, and placement services. Adoption Resources assists with search and reunion services for all members of the adoption constellation.
ABOUT YOU:
The Clinical Supervisor plays a central role in Adoption Resources through oversight of clinical work in the program. This position reports to the Program Director.
The successful Clinical Supervisor will possess excellent clinical knowledge and skills in working with families and individuals needing adoption services, supervision experience, time management and organizational skills, warm interpersonal style, strong written and oral communication, the ability to balance and prioritize tasks.

JOB DESCRIPTION (these responsibilities are a general summary and not all inclusive):
- Supervise Adoption Resources Social Workers
- Organize and run clinical case meetings within Adoption Resources.
- Review and approve Home Studies
- Create and present any parent-initiated adoption contracts.
- Plan staff trainings for social workers and/or families.
- Prepare and manage ICPC work.
- Participate in EEC licensing studies
- Engage in birth parent work
- Additional duties as specified.
EDUCATIONAL, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIEMENT: LICSW or comparable Psychology License.
- Work and/or lived experience with responsibilities listed in the job description.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be mature and flexible, independent, self-directed, and able to work well in a team.
- Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) and overall confidence with technology to be able to support others with questions and needs.
- Valid driver's license.
