Job Title: Evaluation Associate
Hours per week: 15 hours/week
Pay Rate: $22-$24/hour
Job Location: This is a hybrid position – with in-office work at our office in Waltham, MA
Position Summary:
The Evaluation Associate has the opportunity to help measure the impact of 40 social service programs on over 17,000 people across 250 Massachusetts communities! JF&CS is committed to data-driven outcomes assessment to measure program impact and support continuous improvement, and this role is vital to achieving this commitment.
The Evaluation Associate helps us gain insight from clients and staff about the impact of our services and to support program development. This is a great opportunity to work with a range of social service programs to understand their feedback needs, create and implement feedback tools, analyze data, and prepare written materials for various audiences. The associate may also have the opportunity to take part in Salesforce report creation.
This is a one-year position with the possibility of an extension.

Responsibilities Include:
- Draft the content of surveys in collaboration with programs and Manager of Evaluation and Impact
- Implementation of surveys, including the process for dissemination (e.g., creating online surveys in SurveyMonkey and distributing.)
- Track implementation of tools, including monitoring response rates and making suggestions for adjusting implementation as needed to improve response rates
- Provide program staff with data from their surveys for monitoring purposes (e.g., providing staff links to SurveyMonkey automated reports)
- Clean data in preparation for analysis
- Conduct tools research and literature reviews as part of broader program evaluation projects
- Prepare written reports based on survey and client data to comply with funder and accreditation requirements and to enhance program learning
- Learn and create graphics to best support and represent report data.
- Work with program staff to create Salesforce reports to support access to client data base
- Assist with "clean-up" and organization of Salesforce reports
Educational, Experience and Skills Requirement:
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
- Experience with SurveyMonkey or other feedback systems preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce or other data systems is preferred.
- Excellent teamwork skills- a collaborative colleague and team player able to learn from and support their colleagues
